£232,971 LOTTERY AWARD!

Local charity Alzheimer’s & Dementia Support Services (ADSS) has been awarded a grant of £232,971 by the Big Lottery Fund. The grant will fund a five - year project working with GP surgeries to raise awareness of memory problems and encourage early diagnosis. BME Service Development Manager, Viniti Seabrooke will lead on this project and also continue to provide a conduit between the BME Community and ADSS.

There was just 62 awards made in England and just 12 in Kent from this round of the Big Lottery Fund’s Reaching Communities Programme.

This is ADSS 4th Lottery award bringing more than £500,00 to the area.
